Happy Birthday to Us!

A special event is in the works for Saturday May 27th at the newly renovated Heritage Hall in Vancouver. Options’ Board of Directors and staff are creating a diverse installation that will reflect on the last six decades with a particular focus on Policy, Advocacy and Practice (PAP) from the 1960s through to today.

This event, free to the public, will include 6 individual experiences for attendees to catch a glimpse of our work along with advances in reproductive health, rights and justice through the years. With the tread of policy, advocacy and practice woven across the decades we hope to tell a story of not only the organization but the broader sector championing sexual and reproductive health in BC and beyond.

Then we will shift gears that evening with our 60’s inspired ‘Mad Them’ themed gala. A night of live jazz, hors d’hoeuvres and cocktails will be the backdrop for an evening to celebrate a diverse group of sexual health practitioners, researchers, educators and community champions. Our past cadre of Sexual Health Champions will be in attendance along with a special host and some surprise experiences for guests.
